Server Manager gets connection error when trying to add Server Agent

Question:

When trying to add a NetDirector Server Agent to the Server Manager, it comes up with "***Error encountered: CAUSE: No route to host"

Answer:

This could be due to firewalling on the installed system. On the Server Manager, you will need to make sure that the HTTP port and the ports you are talking to the Server Agents on are open. By default, these should be 8080, 8500 and 8501. On the Server Agent, you should make sure that ports being used to talk to the Server Manager are open (8500 and 8501 by default).
