Disk and Network Filesystems
Managing disks and network filesystems mounted on a server through NetDirector.

NetDirector can manage the filesystems that are mounted on a Server Agent system - both local drives and network shares. You can do this by folloing these steps:

  1. Click the System Info button.
  2. Select the server you want to manage from the Server Tree. Note: Disk and Network Filesystems is a Single Server task, and can only be performed on one server at a time.
  3. Click the Disk and Network Filesystems button: disk_network_fs.jpg
  4. The Disk and Network Filesystems screen will display: disk_nfs_pane_collapsed.jpg
  5. You can view current filesystem details - the df information on a Linux system - by clicking the "+" on the "View FileSystem Details" link. This view can be collapsed again by clicking on the "-".disk_nfs_pane_expanded.jpg
  6. To add a mount to the system, click Add Mount. Enter the mount data, and click Save.
  7. To Mount or Unmount an existing filesystem, select the filesystem and click Mount/Unmount Selected.
  8. To Delete a filesystem from being able to be mounted, select the filesystem and click Delete Filesystem. This will delete the entry from the /etc/fstab file for the selected server - it will not delete the filesystem itself from the system it exists on.
